The integrity of an industrial casing depends on the strength of its joints. We design closure systems that ensure a firm and secure coupling between the pieces, eliminating vibrations and ensuring that the structure remains cohesive under real use conditions in plant or field, without relying on external adhesives.
Closure and structural assembly systems.
We implement closure mechanisms such as snap-fits (press tabs), mechanical clips, and screw towers directly into the 3D design. By optimizing tolerances for PETG and PLA, we achieve perfect repeatability in the lid fitting without the need for further manual adjustments. This approach allows for easy maintenance of the internal hardware, providing a robust casing that protects the electronics against impacts and accidental openings.
